Problem with new install and transfer from phpbb3
 

Hi,

Just purchased VB and would like to transfer my forum from PhpBB. VB installed as test run, but when tried to import posts it not looks so good. It seems that server is gone in middle of the transfer:

But, then when I go to Import page again it seems that import script continues to work until next stop with the same error:

Test import lasted 1028 min (hours of waiting and interuptions) and then it said that 0 post are imported

Any help will be appreciated.

At the moment my forum is blocked by LunarPage due to utilizing excessive resources. They disabled access to root for xxxx/public_html/forum/ for users, but I have acces to db. LP Supoort was not very helpfull at all (problem started 3 months ago when they moved from LA to San Diego data centre, with numerous vanilla phpbb installation from my side in order to sovle the problem). As they never admit having problems with their servers, maybe problem lies in phpbb, so I deceded to finally go and try VB. Waiting time to get response from LP HD Support is between 24 and 48 hours :mad:
