Preventing child forums from updating Last Post Greetings all, Searching for some of this has yielded mostly what I already know. And I am still a little stuck. I'm willing to accept that this can't be done, but I''m going to ask anyway... In our forum we have a general chatter forum call Everything Else. Under that is a child forum that is "Thunderdome". Thunderdome is a permission controlled forum that only members of a select usergroup can access. / -> Everything Else -> Thunderdome Works like a charm. Except that on the forums index, the "Last Post" for Everything Else is updated by Thunderdome and that Last Post text is visible to anyone. Is there a way to keep Thunderdome from updating the Everything Else's Last Post when viewed from the main index page? Thanks! |
