Same old question
 

Hi Guys

i've read some of the posts on this subject and just want to clarify things for myself if i can on the subject of starting a new forum.

I have a computer, broadband, email address and the following ideas on what i require to start a forum:

1. a domain name. Can i buy one of these somewhere? and how mouch ownership / control wili have over it. i eed to point it at my forum.

2. a web hosting site. any recommendations?

3. purchase vb. which version?

4. how much of an expert do i need to be to set all this up?
