Question about replication
 

I seem to have everything set up correctly and if i 'netstat' i can see that it is connected to the second servers mysql.. I have all the slaveserver config in config.php set correctly..

When I "show tables;" it is showing it as empty... Do I need to recreate all the tables from the master server first? or will it create the tables for me?


Do i need to change something on the slave servers my.cnf to tell it to act as a slave server?

Does this effect other databases i have on that mysql which i dont want to be 'slaves'?
