Search box and submit button image not aligned
 

Hi, if you go to my forum; http://www.simpsonsboard.com/

The search box at the very top of the page, the submit button is higher than the input box.

How can I fix this please?

And also, is there a way to make the search box not touch the banner directly and leave 2px or so gap between them?
