تم الإعلان بشكل رسمي عن قدوم لعبة The Walking Dead: Assault للهواتف الذكية التي تعمل بأنظمة التشغيل أندرويد عبر متجر GooglePlay في وقت لاحق .

فريق التطوير Gamagio أعلن عن الخبر سابقا، حيث يضع العنوان اللاعبين في مغامرة يأخذ فيها المستخدم دور “ريك غرايمز” الذي يستيقظ في مستشفى ليفاجئ بانتشار عدوى أكلي لحوم البشر ويقوم باختيار أربع شخصيات لتصاحبه في رحلته المحفوفة بالمخاطر.

اللعبة صدرت منذ فترة قصيرة لأجهزة iOS وحققت نجاح جيد الى حد ما، ويتوقع أن تفعل نفس الشيء على منصات الأندرويد حيث تعتمد على الشاشات التي تعمل باللمس وترقية الأسلحة والمعدات التي يمتلكها المستخدمون.
