Maximum Displayed Posts Before Page Split
 

Is there a way to change this so it's...

Maximum Displayed THUMBNAILS Before Page Split ... for posts that contain many pictures (thumbnails of each of course)

??

I run a site with a LOT of photos, and have an add-on that allows me to upload hundreds of files at once (attachments), but even 100 pictures per post, that's 500 on a page - load time is LONG. Other times I might only be adding 5 or 10 pictures to a post, so therefore more posts could fit into a page.

I know one response might be: just cut down your posts to 50 or 30 pictures per post, then 5 posts per page isn't as bad. Yes, BUT... when I come back from an event with 500 or 800 (sometimes over 1500) photos, it's not practical to sit there doing only 30 or 50 at a time. (and I don't want to enter blank 'spacer posts' just to take up room to force it to go to a next page).
