To renew or not renew ...
 

I have to renew my license.
I read with amazement the suggestion that extra will be charged to existing customers for vB4.

I bought my license expecting yearly renewals would give me updates to the product (vB) lifecycle.

Any changes to the way I receive updates will leave me with a very bad taste.

It seems vB customers are now IB's cash cows.
They have no interest in us other than to milk as much cash out of us as possible.
Their policy - lose a few loyal customers and cream the majority who stay with vB.

If this new (widely leaked) pricing structure is applied I will certainly move to another board out of principle. I will also support any legal challenges as I bought a license with expectations of receiving upgrades to the product. vB4 isn't a new product it's an upgrade in the forum software we all bought licenses for.

So the leak has been out there for over a week.
