Need Basic Instructions on downloading current site
 

Hi:
I am in a pickle. My whole website has gone down including my Vbulletin forum. I talked to the techie guy at SBC and he said it is a database error someplace and to have the person who built the site fix it. Well, that's not available to me.

I purchased Adobe CS4 which comes with Dreamweaver. I have BASIC, and I mean very basic understanding of all this. My question is, can I download just the VBulletin forum folder from the damaged website and put it up under another domain name so at least I can keep things running till I figure out what to do next?

I found a tutoral for how to download the site using Dreamweaver and that seems reasonably straight forward.

Any thoughts would be helpful. Please, use as much nontechnical language as possible. Pretend you are walking your mom through this, OK?
