My VB License has expired, I was about to renew when I read the pricing discussion that was posted in the Vb staff forum.

I'm concerned by what I read and as an owner of the blog (pathetic software) it looks as if I will be paying out a lot more than I envisaged when I bought the licenses. (I expected a small annual renewal fee for support and access to current downloads).

I need to know NOW what my costs will be as I only have a small forum with a few hundred members. Many of whom prefer Facebook and I can see their point of view.

I may just drop the forum and move to a Facebook Group and use Flickr instead of Photopost.

Vbulletin need to react to the fact that their pricing discussion is now public and make some guarantees to their current and future customers.

A vague promise of 'Factoring In' renewals doesn't cut it.
