Advice on what kind of hosting to use with my site...
 

Hello everyone!

I run a somewhat huge forum, and it's becoming slow.. A search takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes (sometimes even more :(). It can take 30 seconds to post.. Basically, the forum is slow!

Stats:
Database: 1.3 GB
Traffic: Varies from 45 GB/Month to 55 GB/Month
Members: 25.820
Simultaneous online members: Anywhere from 50 to 200 (depends on the time of day)
Unique visitors per 24 hrs: ca 1602
Threads: 78.550, Messages: 791.170

Currently I'm on the "best" shared server hosting from HostGator.
Currently I cant afford a dedicated server, so I'm looking for something that's a bit better than shared server hosting but less expensive than a dedicated server..

Any suggestion as to what kind of hosting to use and/or where to get a proper service for a fair amount of money, is greatly appreciated!
