I am trying to put in some simple php code into my footer
 

So basically it gets the url from my other site and just outputs it so that its easy for me to control where it links.


But it gives me a weird error when I put it in:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/****/public_html/***.com/forums/includes/adminfunctions_template.php(3772) : eval()'d code on line 68

Is there any way to modify this code so that it works?

Also when I get rid of the single quotes around HTTP_HOST and REQUEST_URI the error no longer happens, but then "; > is output on my website.
