Forum Phantom Attachments
 

I'm setting up a brand new forum (vB4.2.0 (patch level 3). While creating some new threads with attachments I discovered that 'my' Attachments Manager includes thirty+ images that I've never uploaded.


I'm trying to delete them from the database where they are stored. In the AdminCP > Attachments > Statistics > Five Users Whose Attachments Take Up the Most Space my name is listed along with the number 38 and a and a total size of 1.02 MB. Attempting to View Attachments to see and delete the unknown images only the four that I've actually uploaded are listed.


A peculiarity is that all the phantom images all have almost sequential numbers in the 35000 range for names. Looking at them some of them I discovered that they are from a few years ago, some screen shots of someone else's web site and a few seemingly random color images.


Does anyone have any suggestions how I could clean up this little detail?
