Forum Which character set and collation would be best?
 

OK, haven't received a response to my earlier thread on how to fix charset and collation mis-matches, BUT I think I may have figured out enough to change all the variables, database, tables, and fields to whatever charset and collation I choose to use...

Now... simple question to ask, and I'd appreciate some considered opinions:

Which Character set and Collation would be BEST to use? And why would choose your recommended (or any specific) combination...
