In search of htaccess
 

Currently, there is nothing in my htaccess file. I installed a WordPress security plugin that put hundreds of lines of code in my htaccess file. It completely overloaded my server. So I deleted the lot. But now I can't remember what I had in my htaccess file before all of this.

What should be in there? What helps with its performance (htaccess entries only. I am aware of other stuff like CDN, etc).
