Forum Login redirect so slow
 

Hello,
On my site I have noticed that after a user logs in, the redirect takes like 15-20 secs to reload. It's feels like a very long time, but it eventually gets there.
I was wondering if there was something that I can do about this, but I'm not sure where to start?
I have about 10,000 reg. users with about 20-100 active at a time.
I also have several thousand forums, could this contribute to the lag in the redirect?

I am open to any suggestions or info and would greatly appreciate it.
