Forum Permissions Problem with user groups
 

Hi folks,

I've got something strange going on with the permissions on my forums.

I have got a user group which allows access to forums which are ordinarily hidden from "Registered Users" only. You have to be given permission to view the hidden forums.

All users have their primary group as Registered users, and then we tick the enhanced access box in the additional user group section to give permission to the new group. However, it seems to be ignoring the permissions of the latter and only taking Registered Users permissions.

If I change the primary usergroup to be the enhanced permission group, then it works.

Any idea why? I think there is a setting somewhere that I've missed, but I can't find it. :(
