Forum Moving a VB4 forum onto a new domain
 

For very long and boring reasons I am plan to move my site from one domain to another.

The quick plan is this:

1) Shutdown the forum on olddomain.com
2) Backup databases and files on olddomain.com
3) Restore to newdomain.com
4) Put a 301 redirect on olddomain.com pointing to newdomain.com
5) Work out what configs needs to be updated (this is the part I could do with a hand on as this isn't really something you can do a dress rehersal on)
6) Open the site on newdomain.com

Has anybody done this before, are there any gotchas waiting for me in the wings?
