Forum How can I or is it even possible?
 

Good day all,

We just purchased a dedicated server are are starting the process of moving our sites from shared hosting to the dedicated box.

So I figured this would be a good time to upgrade to the latest version and cleanup our installations.

Over the years we have installed and removed various plugins and I am sure these plugins in someway must have created DB entries which are no longer used by us.

So I am wondering is there a way to just move the actual DB entries that VB uses?

Example

1- backup my directory files, backup my DB, move them to the new box and then upgrade to latest version?

Or is there a cleaner process that can be done?

I am making sense here at what I am trying to accomplish?
