A couple questions
 

Hey,

I currently use Invision Power Board however as I have began to expand my community I have found that the software and available modifications severely limit the possibilities in the way I expand my website, so that's why I am here.

first and foremost I would like to know if it's possible to have multiple websites running off the same database?
I want to set up a secondary/'slave' forum that will use my main database and will only display a specific category (I believe it's a 'channel' in VB) of the main forum
For example

Website #1 has the following
Code:
-Category 1
---- Forum
---- Forum
---- Forum
-Category 2
---- Forum
---- Forum
---- Forum
-Category 3
---- Forum
---- Forum
---- Forum
but only Category #3 will be displayed on the second forum
