Twitter–accused Bahraini given bail

a HUMAN rights activist has been freed on bail in Bahrain after more than two months in custody on charges of posting false news on Twitter. Yousef Al Muhafedha will stand trial on 29 January. His case is seen as part of an internet crackdown by the authorities.
