Need Help From A Patient Person
 

Hi All:

I have been considering purchasing vBulletin and I have activated the free trial. Mostly, I need a functional message board AND a single blog (mine) on one site. It's important to note that I know almost nothing about PHP, SQL, or CSS. In fact I do not even know what those abbreviations stand for. I do have a hosting account, and I am somewhat familiar with Wordpress. I already have a domain name for the vBulletin board I'm considering buying.

Is vBulletin right for someone like me?

If so, I have a multitude of questions.

Using the default theme, how would I do the following:

1. remove the video from the right sidebar.

2. remove the sidebar altogether.

3. in the tabs, change "BLOGS" to "BLOG" or "TIPS."

4. remove the vBulletin logo

5. add my own banner WITHOUT losing the search form
