#1062 - Duplicate Entry
 

Hi there!

I'm currently moving my site away from shared hosting to a VPS and over the past week i've been rehearsing the move everything has gone okay, until i actually do the move for real today that is :o.

Each time i've imported the sqldump previously using phpmyadmin things have completed successfully, today however i'm repeatedly getting an #1062 - Duplicate entry in the 'Word' table error.

I've tried:
AdminCP->Maintenance->Repair/Optimise Tables
AdminCP->Maintenance->Repair/Optimise Tables->Fix Unique Indexes
AdminCP->Maintenance->Update Counters->Rebuild Search Index

...and dropping the entire db on the new server and re-exporting and importing after each of those steps, but still getting the same error :confused:

I managed eventually to get the db to import successfully eventually by editing the sqldump line that was 'alledgedly' duplicated although i could only find one instance of it in the dump from:

REPLACE INTO `word` VALUES (11971, 'you’re');
Trouble is i'm not very experienced and i'm not sure what i've done, have i fixed it or made things worse :o? Have i damaged the imported db in any way?

I also noticed that the 'Cardinality' (whatever that is) is one less for the keys in that table in the imported db that the Exported db.
