Doing some testing before taking the site live. I am trying to get embeds of youtube videos but solutions I've found are not working so I am wondering if I am missing a setting in the admincp?

First, when I put something in [ CODE ] like this preview it looks fine.

But when I publish it I see the page like this:

Basically all the content in between the codes disappears.

And quite possibly related but if I make a word a hyperlink to download a video or pdf, the output I see is something like [ URL ] http://website.com/download.pdf [/ URL]

Stumped. Ideas? Thanks!
