Forum Disable COPPA not working - huge number of COPPA users awaiting moderation
 

We noticed today that we accumulated approx 1800 new users in the last few weeks all in the primary usergroup (COPPA) Users Awaiting Moderation - all from Chinese IP addresses. However, we have COPPA Disabled in User Registration options and no age field shows up on our Registration form, so how could we have all these users in that usergroup?

Does this mean the users are somehow being injected into our database?

We're running 4.2.0 PL3
