برنامج تور بروسر يتكون من برنامجين مدمجين فى برنامج واحد : الأول هو برنامج tor لعمل اتصال vpn لإخفاء الهويه.والثاني هو المتصفح الشهير firefox .لقد قام المبرمجين بدمج البرنامجين لتظهر التحفه الفنيه Tor Browser بطريقة بورتال ( برنامج محمول) .فأصبح تصفح الأنترنت أكثر امانا وسريه بالإضافه لفتح المواقع المحجوبه وإخفاء الهويه.
كما يوجد ميزه في البرنامج تستطيع من خلالها تثبيت البرنامج على flas usb فيصبح البرنامج معك أينما ذهبت , تستطيع أن تستخدمه في مقاهي الأنترنت .
