Forum admincp password protection issue
 

So I have my admin control panel protected with .htpasswd. And If you attempt to visit the admincp url, a prompt would pop asking you to input a user name and password. However, if I were add index.php to the end of the url and try accessing it then, the prompt would not appear and I would be able to access it without any issue. Any one else came across this issue before on the board? would appreciate a fix or any with it.
