Forum Questions on moving to a new physical server
 

I have been reviewing http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/moving_servers but have questions:

Am presently running 4.2.0 (we do not plan on upgrading to 5 yet) on Windows Server 2003 32 bit using PHP 5.2.13 and mySQL 5.1.47


1. The new server will be Windows Server 2012 64bit - is there any issues running vbulletin and PHP 5.4 and MySQL with this operating system?

2. The new server will have a new ip address - does something have to be done with vbulletin account, our licensing, etc to allow for this?

3. I would like to test on the new server while the old forum is still live.
Can I do this, and if so, how?


if anyone can point me towards documentation that answers these or provide answers, that would be greatly appreciated.
