I chose "No" for Persistent on a Notice.

The description says the notice will only be displayed once per visit.

When I logged out and back in, there it was yet again.

Persistent = No shows the notice once.... yet EVERY TIME they visit.

What is the purpose of that?

We already have a setting that shows notices EVERY TIME someone visits.

They can click the X if they want it to go away.

What if I want it to go away after the user has seen the notice?

Whats the value of them seeing it only once...... yet seeing it again and again ..... every time they visit?

Notices are to convey a message. Once the message has been seen, the user is aware.

So it makes sense to set the notice to display only once.

How do I do this?
