Forum URL problem with user profiles
 

Hello,

whenever I click on a user profile link in my forum http://www.diavelforum.de/members/list/, the software creates a link like http://www.diavelforum.de/member.php?u=408. When users click on the link, they are taken to http://www.diavelforum.de/members/0ethanrg.html - hence some mod rewrite takes place.

I used to run vbseo but it has given me a major headache with my forums (virus warnings, etc), so I unplugged it.

I tried searching the maintenance part inside admincp, but running those functions didn´t solve the problem.

The main issue is that some user profiles can´t be accessed by members because the redirect is wrong.

User Diavel #4 - if you click on his profile link, you´ll be taken to diavel2604´s user profile.

What is there to do?
