Forum Storing images in file system editing the images .attach
 

I have my attachment images being stored in the file system

weblinks look like:
/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=14072&d=1356628547


the files are stored in a deep maze of numerical directories
1 > 2 > 0 > 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 > 1

"not sure what the rhyme or reason is here"

but either way they are encoded as .attach and paired .thumb files.

I have some photoshop batch processes that I use to edit large attachments but I can't work with the .attach files.


Q. anyway to store the files as .jpg / .gif / .pdf / etc. ?

Likely it is a setting I am missing but I don't see it.
