Forum Moved host, now character issues? Hi all, I have some issues with my vb forum (4.2.0 PL3) since I moved hosts. For some reason, all existing charcters like é, ? etc. are now displayed as question marks or other charcters , so if someone is named culé it's now displayed as cul. The problem is though, that my forum has already been running on my new host for several weeks, and newly created users or newly typed characters like é and ? display ok. I haven't changed anything in the language setting that I'm aware of though, I just did a mysqldump and re-imported, nothing else (language says it's on UTF-8, same as database). I checked a backup from several months ago and that's on UTF-8 as well, so no changes there. Example: http://mgftw.com/member.php/7281-Roland-Cul%EF%BF%BD You can see the é as . Any idea how I can solve this issue so old posts as well as newly created posts are displayed in the same way? I moved btw. from Gentoo to CentOS, if that means anything. Thanks! |
