A specific user's list of posts, how to get? In managing a forum, it is very useful for the admin to be able to go thru the list of users and click on a link for listing all posts by that user, so you can see if they are a spammer, or if they should get an upgrade in privileges, or just to see what kind of person they are. However, in vBulletin, the Admin cannot do this in Control Panel! While browsing the forum as any user, you can do this by clicking on a username. However, in Control Panel while browsing the list of users as Admin, or even going into a user's profile, this does not exist. If you search the forum by the posting person's name, the search result comes up empty, even though the Control Panel lists many posts. If you don't already know where somebody has posted, then how can you find their posts? I have searched everywhere, many times, but I cannot find this feature. All I can do is manually copy their user ID and paste it into a URL, such as: http://www.a.com/vb/search.php?do=finduser&u=2106 and just change the last 4 or 5 numbers manually. I hope that in the next version of vBulletin, a link is added. I'm on version 3.7.2 Thank you for considering this suggestion. If I've missed something, please point it out to me. |
