Forum Backup and Restore
 

Good Morning,

PhPMyadmin will backup but not restore over a small amount of data and I understand nothing about this SSH/Telnet even though I have read page after page of so called info on sites. I have now found a backup and recovery (paid) software that seems to work just fine, the backup shows in my folder (20.7mb) but I need to test the restore side to see if that works.

I'm thinking if I load Vb on another server and then restore my backup to that server I should have a forum that looks and acts exactly like my actual forum. That's my thinking, is that how it works, will I have an exact duplicate forum ??
