Suite Getting email to work with 4.2 installed on 1and1?
 

Hello all,

Hoping someone has dealt with this before. This is my first forum installation and while not terrified about it, there are few places where I am not having any luck figuring things out, primarily getting the email features of the forum to work with 1and1's email system.

I have the Forum installed ok, it just does not seem to be able to access the SMTP server. I have the "1and1 Unlimited" plan, which includes there own email server with the same domain name as my site. I followed their information with regards to user id and ports.

Here is my set up.

SMTP = Yes
SMTP Host = smtp.1and1.com
User id = [email protected]
SMTP Port = 25
Password = mypassword
SMTP Secure = TLS


I have setup an account on the 1and1 control panel ( [email protected] ) and have confirmed the password is correct.

It appears to send and says Send Successful, but no emails arrive at the recipient, I have checked the spam email settings too.

Any help would be great!
