Bahraini activist’s sentence reduced

A Bahrain appeals court on Tuesday sentenced prominent rights activist Nabeel Rajab to two years imprisonment for fomenting violent protests. The court reduced his sentence from three years to two after a charge of verbally abusing a police officer was dropped.
