Blog Disabling blog postings without disabling the blog product/plugin
 

Is there a way to make it so that people cannot post new blogs at all? I see where you can force it to go straight to moderation; however, I don't see an option to disallow blogs from users.

Basically, I'm wanting to make it so that only specific people can post blogs (perhaps a specific usergroup.) Right now I have it set up so that everything goes to moderation; however, the spammers are driving me crazy. For some reason they don't attack the regular forum, just the blog system.

Anyway, I hate disabling the blog system entirely because I'd like for users to be able to read the legitimate blogs that are there. So, that's why I'm asking for a way to restrict the posting of blogs while still allowing all users to view them.
