CMS Edit Pencil Icon and RSS not clickable
 

I just upgraded from 4.1x to 4.2 then 4.23 and now my pencil icons to edit are not working right, if at all. I can't edit pages of articles or RSS icons on those pages, etc. and the only time the icons work is on the articles when they are displayed with abstracts on those pages. I also have an RSS widget that doesn't work now, though it is still in the admincp like it was before.
