Forum Private forum posts showing up in forum sidebar
 

Hi, I have a private forum which is only admissable by password within the vBulletin board. There is a problem in that the posts within the private forum are showing up in the forum sidebar on the right.

In the Forum Manager, for that private forum I have selected No to hide is from users who are not allowed to access it. That has worked. But it also says:

This option applies to any forum listing, including the Quick Navigation menu, and Search Results. Selecting 'Use default' will use the system default as defined in Forum Listings Display Options.

However, as I say, the first few lines of each post in the private forum are showing up in the sidebar and are thus visible to the rest of the discussion board, who are not necessarily members of the private forum.

I'd be grateful for any help.
