Announcements discussion forum: gone?
 

Pardon my for my mostly disallowed (as of today) comments on the business practices of Jelsoft or IB as a whole, but the only rational explanation for the closing of the Announcements discussion forum was because of the consistent criticism for shoddy and overall unprofessional communication and feature implementation from a company that puts millions of dollars of revenue on the books every year.

The announcements discussion forum was never an area to get information, it was a place to discuss what was going on in progression of vBulletin. In the five or so years I have used vBulletin, this forum has worked excellently for discussion of the announcement only, and it was under my personal understanding that the so called "information" that is apparently getting lost in the discussion threads was in the announcements thread in the other forum.

I see this entire move as IB attempting to save face by eliminating our ability to provide general feedback, and even saw TECK's thread closed earlier asking for a discussion on the subject.

This is all very upsetting coming from a company with a previously solid and reputable standing in terms of quality and client respect.
