Former admin breaking into AdminCP
 

About a year and a half ago one of our Admins left the forum but did not provide us with any files apart from the database itself. As a result we bought a new copy of vB and completely changed the forums - the styles changed, everything - all that remains the same is the original database, with a few exceptions being new/removed users, posts, etc.

This individual has now returned and is claiming that "[we] haven't removed some code [he] left in there" and that he is threatening to 'break into' the AdminCP.

I have taken all the usual security precautions, but would like to know, is this actually possible, not only for someone to plant some code, but for him to still get into the forums despite being on totally different hosting and no original files remaining from the installation when he was part of our team.
