Forum send username as a hidden field
 

I would like to send members from another website (site A) to our vbulletin registration page, but instead of doing a full on integration would prefer just catch their username via the GET method from site A to be either sent in a hidden field or be auto inserted into the registration form in register.php ?

Something like:

$username_siteA=$_GET['username_siteA'];
if ($username_siteA){
$username=$username_siteA
}

then echo it into the username form field.

I would like to do the same with the email field as well.
