Forum "Too Many Users" Database error
 

Lately I have started receiving the following email message

Database error in vBulletin :

mysqli_real_connect() [function.mysqli-real-connect
]: (08004/1040): Too many connections
/home/mysitename/public_html/fire4511/sapp/includes/class_core.php on line 1356

No complaints from any of my members indicating difficulties logging in, and I average about
40 visitors per day. I am running Vbulletin 4.2.0 patch level 2 integrated with PP 8.1.
Site seems to be operating perfectly with the exception of the 3-5 error messages per week.
Any help is much appreciated.
