Forum Friendly URLs MOD Issue - URGENT! Hi everyone! I am having an issue with my friendly urls settings. I have enabled friendly Urls MOD, I also moved the .htaccess file from *do_not_upload\rewrite\apache2\.htaccess* to my forums root install, following what was in this article: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/...ofriendly_urls This is the issue that I am currently facing. When I click on a topic, it goes to: www.example.com/forums/Topic-Tittle-Here And it works just fine. Now, when I click on one of the threads inside the topic, it goes here: www.example.com/threads/thread-tittle-here But I want it to work just like most of the forums that I visit. I want to remove that forums word so when someone goes to a thread it only reads: www.example.com/Topic-Tittle-Here/thread-tittle-here My forum is already installed on the root directory. All topics are accessible from: wwww.example.com I want my forums to behave exactly as in the example of *www.warriorforum.com* If you go to a topic there, it goes to: *www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/* When you go to a thread inside such topic, it goes to: *www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/886-forum-rules-please-read-before-posting-forum.html* Perfect paths... Any help on how I should edit the .htaccess file to behave this way? Or what must I do, so that it does? :( *EDIT* I am running Version 4.2.0 |
