Forum 'New Posts' = "Sorry - no matches" for some people and certain browsers? Hi all, we have an issue with the 'new posts' feature on our forum, but only for some people and seemingly only on certain browsers. The link in the navbar seems correctly formed as Code: http://www.ourdomain.com/forum/searc...e=vBForum_Post which then gets rewrittten to Code: http://www.ourdomain.com/forum/searc...earchid=868713 or some such number. Firefox and IE9 seem particularly affected. But it's not consistent. Some people find if works once and then not again for the while day, others find if they use a different browser it's ok. I'm wondering if it's somehow session related? The only thing we've changed recently is to move our blog away from the web root and replace it with our shop. This has meant the .htaccess file in the web root has changed, but I can't see how this would be the issue as we ignore all /forum rewrites via the line Code: RewriteRule ^forum/.*$ - [PT] and the .htaccess file within the /forum is unchanged. Can someone suggest how we can resolve this please? It's really bugging our regular users :( thanks, James |
