ImpEx from ikB to vbb4.x user post html chars not converting
 

After successfully importing my ikB 3.12a db into vBB 4, Ive found the user posts do not display non-alpha chars correctly.
Example: the imported forums posts display "& #33;" instead of "!"

ikB and its db is UTF8, and after noticing this issue, i went back and reset it to Latin1_swedish along with the new vBB db and reimported with ImpEx. Still the same issue.


If I edit a post in vBB and just save (without actually changing anything) the post then displays correctly.

What to do? This is the last issue it seems, before I can go ahead and work on aesthetics before the official ikB>vBB upgrade/launch.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
