What to do with my site's hacker's IP address? Hello, I found out the hacker's IP Addresses through the FTP Access Log in WHM/Cpanel. Now, what would you recommend I do? I am attaching the ftp log in this ticket so you can see. The IP Addresses used by the hackers were registered by ThePlanet and Hostgator. The hackers IP were: 64.5.33.174, 70.86.12.226, 72.219.166.124. Should I report them to the IP registrars? What action should I take to make my server a lot more protected? I already changed passwords to really tough and secured ones. Recommend me the best way to fix all issues so that in the future hackers cant access my server this easily. I am with WiredTree in a virtual private server. I currently use VBulletin 3.8.2 integrated with scripts such as Photopost gallery, photopost classifieds, c&d garage & vBadvanced. It was a headache to solve everything, got my site completely cleaned up with fresh files. This was not necessarily a vbulletin hacking attempt, but instead a brute force attack. |
