Forum Profile Albums vs. Public Albums
 

I can't find any documentation describing the purpose of the Profile Album type. The description in the album settings says "Pictures used to modify your profile style" but I can't see how any images in the profile album type can be used to modify the profile other than the album only appearing in the profile and not in the Gallery. Is that the purpose or am I missing some way the images can be used in the profile design itself?

Any insight you can offer is greatly appreciated.
