Forum How Thread View Stats are Calculated
 

Hello,

When you look at a forum individually (in which all the threads display), each thread lists the total number of views. How are those views calculated? Do users have to be logged in? Is the page auto-refreshed after a period of time? Do you have to be logged in for views to update? If you notice really high views, could that indicate bots are on your site?
