Suite Reinstalling vbulleting on subdomain using same DB
 

i want a completely fressh start with vb 4.2

i want to test it using my old database - can i do a complete reinstall on the sub domain using the old config file without doing anything bad to the database??

of course i have back up but i would like to know if that i the way to do it


So - will i have a complete fresh forum with all the old content if i install it using the old config file ?


Im no geek - it just seems the logical way to do it - i dont know if its the way to go ?
